Doel van de \u2018Stichting het Pennywhistle Project\u2019:<\/div>\n
Het Pennywhistle Project omvat als een paraplu verschillende projecten vanuit het hart voornamelijk geconcentreerd rond kinderen in ontwikkelingslanden (Nepal). De stichting beoogt het verbeteren van de kwaliteit van leven en welzijn van kansarme\u00a0kinderen en volwassenen.\u00a0Kinderen die nog steeds, of die vroeger op straat leefden. Projecten rond verschillende kinderhuizen, scholen, primary health care- en water-projecten. Training en het inspireren van (jonge) mensen, educatie, muziek en toneel. Wij werken soms samen met andere stichtingen en we zijn ook actief in Engeland en Nederland.<\/div>\n
Aim of \u2018The Pennywhistle Project Foundation\u2019:\u00a0<\/em><\/div>\n
The Pennywhistle Project Foundation is the umbrella of different profound projects round children who live or who used to live on the streets in developmental countries (Nepal). Aim of the foundation\u00a0is to improve the quality of life and the wellbeing of less privileged children and adults.\u00a0Projects involve different children-homes, schools, primary\u00a0health care and water projects. Training and inspiring (young) people, education, music and performing arts. We cooperate with different foundations and we are also active in England and the Netherlands.<\/span><\/em><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

  1. Kinderhuis \u2018Lotus Family Foundation Nepal \/ Children home \u2018Lotus Family Foundation Nepal\u2019.\u00a0<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Het kinderhuis wordt sinds 2011 maandelijks ondersteund in de kosten voor de huur, water, electriciteit, gas, voedsel, medische kosten, kleding, schoolspullen en praktische hulp in en om het huis.<\/div>\n
    Since 2011 the children home is supported every month in the costs of rent, water, electricity, gas, food, medical costs, clothes, school uniforms (pens, paper etc) and practical help in and round the house.<\/span><\/em><\/div>\n

    Iman and Binita Lama zorgen voor op liefdevolle manier voor de kinderen. Zij wonen samen met hun eigen zoon in het huis. Anita, de kokkin, helpt met het huishouden. Er wonen 10 kinderen in het huis,\u00a0 7 jongens en 3 meisjes. De 2 dochters van Anita slapen thuis, zij horen ook bij de Lotus familie. De kinderen zijn door omstandigheden met hun families op straat in Kathmandu beland en elkaar vaak kwijt geraakt of ouders zijn overleden. Twee kinderen kwamen van het platteland omdat zij ondervoed waren.<\/div>\n
    Iman and <\/span>Binita Lama are taking care of the children in a very loving way. They live in the home together with their own son. Anita, the cook, helps with the household. Ten children live in the home,\u00a0 7 boys and 3 girls. The two daughters of Anita sleep at home, they also belong to Lotus family. The children ended up on the streets of Kathmandu with their families. They have lost each other or parents passed away. Two children came form the countryside because they were malnourished.<\/span><\/em><\/div>\n
    2. Educatie individueel en hulp aan scholen \/ Education of individuals and support of schools:<\/em><\/div>\n
    Scholing van enkele jonge mensen, zodat zij financieel onafhankelijk kunnen worden: \u00e9\u00e9n verpleegkundige-, \u00e9\u00e9n kapster en schoonheidsspecilaiste, \u00e9\u00e9n jazz-gitarist ging naar het jazz conservatorium.<\/div>\n

    Schooling of young people in order to become financially independent: a nurse, a beautician and a jazz gitarist went to jazz college.<\/em><\/div>\n
    In \u00e9\u00e9n school op het platteland werd een bibliotheek geinstalleerd en op de Hamro Sunshine School (Boudhanath) werd een muziek lokaal ingericht en voorzien van instrumenten. Ook werd het schoollied officieel opgenomen zodat het elke dag gespeeld kan worden op het schoolplein.<\/div>\n

    In one school in the countryside a library was installed and on the Hamro Sunshine School (Boudhanath) the music classroom was painted, flooring was laid and musical intruments were provided. Also the Schoolsong was officially recorded for the Hamro Sunshine School. Now the Schoolsong can be played every day when the children arrive at school.<\/em><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
